The People's Committee of Cam Ranh City has announced its approval of the proposal to conduct research on organizing Lobster Festival in Cam Ranh City.
Cam Ranh City is considered the lobster capital of Vietnam, especially famous for the delicious lobsters farmed in the coastal area of Binh Ba Island (Cam Binh commune).
It is estimated that the entire city has tens of thousands of lobster farming cages, with Cam Binh commune alone having about 7,000 cages, yielding approximately 250 tons of lobster meat.
The Lobster Festival in Cam Ranh City is scheduled to take place in April 2024.
